We Jellytots Nursery are a data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation,
we collect personal information from you about you and your child and may receive
information about you or your child from previous settings or outside agencies
such as health professionals or social services.
We hold this data to:
- Support your child's learning,
- Monitor and report on your child's progress,
- Provide appropriate care, and ensuring all of your child's needs are met,
- CCTV for security of the premises (held for 30 days),
Information about you or your child that we hold includes:
- Your contact details,
- Employment details,
- Emergency contact numbers,
- Attendance information,
- Personal characteristics (such as Gender, Religion, Ethnic group, SEND, Medical needs)
- Copies of Child's birth certificate,
- Learning and development records,

We will not give information about you or your child to anyone without your consent
unless the law and our policies allow us to. We are required to pass some information about
you and your child to our Local Authority for funding purposes and may be required to pass
on information to schools for transition purposes.
